The Blog Update for Mission Trip 2010 to India and Pakistan. Tuesday, March 2, 2010. Everyone is relaxing and sleeping in their rooms before the flight home. I am up and cant sleep - I want to sleep on the flight if Rosy allows. We praise God for watching over us and we are all completely humbled by what He has done and continues to do through us. Wednesday, August 3, 2011. During these months God truly worked among us and the people. In our work in Chaviña we are still in the relationship phase, building a presence among the people. So, it was extremely important for us during these months to establish a presence. Amusing to watch the transition from football to futbol. René that God might open his heart to the gospel. Julia and Katy, who continue to meet with us. That we could place someone in Chaviña long term. That God might start a church.

Hardships and Changes to the Mission. The name of my mission is Neustra Senora de la Soledad. My mission was built on October 9 1971. Father Fermin Lassuen, Franciscan missionary, and successor Junipero Serra built my mission. Three reasons my mission was built was because the Spain wanted to gain control of California Indians the priests would teach the language, and they would tell what the California Indians what to do.
