Friday, January 21, 2011. While we were still getting settled in, we managed to get out to explore some of the great places around us to help us to start to get to know our new home state. Many places, including Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Francisco are about an hour drive, so they make nice destinations for random day trips. It was a special ti.
